Pastel pink and purple dots

I made this design a long time ago. I just wanted some pastel colors on my nails, and making dots is one of the easiest nail designs EVER. At least it is for me.

It gives a nice happy feeling with pastel colors, and it fits the most of my clothing (Fairy kei stuff).

For the blue I used Color Club - Meet Me At the Rink, the purple dots are made with By K - Lavender Blue and the pink dots are made with By K - Trolley Dolly.

A Fairy Kei outfit for a meet-up

Once again there was a meet-up with Japanese Fashion, but this time it was a mixed meet-up for all kind of styles! Not just the "sweet" styles but any type of style could show up.
We held the meet-up because the Purikura machine will start costing money from the 1st of July. Or more correctly the museum it's standing in will cost money to get into. So no more free Purikura pictures.

I showed up in Fairy Kei 'cause it's comfortable and it doesn't take as long to get ready as Lolita Fashion, and I wasn't really up for either Lolita Fashion or something like Himekaji that day.

I also invited one of my co-workers to the meet-up because she likes Japanese and Japan, but she doesn't know much about the fashion styles. I lent her some of my Fairy Kei clothes (The non-brand casual version of Fairy kei, 'cause I'm very senstive about my brand stuff and the things I bought in Japan) and "dressed her up" for the meet-up.
It was a really fun day and I was wearing my favorite Fairy Kei outfit.

The shopping list:
Accessories: Claire's, 6%DokiDoki, the bag is from Swimmer and the face glitter is from a 100円 shop
Dress: Sango
Outer Kimono: New Yorker
Leggings: Kvickly
Knee-high socks: No Fall
Leg warmers: Deichmann
Shoes: Deichmann

Fairy Decora from the Fashion show of J-popcon

This is the second year where I attended the fashion show of J-popcon, a Japanese convention held in Denmark. Because I want to show another Japanese style than Fairy Kei I attend with the Japanese fashion Fairy Decora.

Fairy Decora is a sub-style of Fairy Kei, and you can't have Fairy Decora without Fairy kei. The style of the clothing is the same as in Fairy Kei; pastel, light and fluffy, you just add a lot of accessories! Just like in the Japanese fashion style Decora.
So it's two styles combined in one! It's a very happy style and you feel like a toystore when you wear it, at least I do.

The show was from March but I first thought of blogging it just recently, my bad.

The shopping list:
Accessories: 6%DokiDoki, Chocomint, Claire's and lots of stuff from when I was a kid
Shirt: Listen Flavor
Skirt shorts: Liz Lisa
Outer kimono: New Yorker
Lace hoodie: Ank Rouge
Leggings: Kvickly
Knee-high socks: No Fall
Leg warmers: 100円 shop
Shoes: Deichmann

OOTD - Frilly Business

Here's a little old OOTD. It's from March, but I wanted to show it anyways. It's not a particular Japanese street style, so for once it's not Fairy kei!
However it is inspirered from Fairy kei with the frills and the light colors, but it is not truly Fairy kei.

So yes, this is an everyday outfit I could possibly wear when I don't feel like going all Fairy kei, but still wants to feel cute.

The nail design is also from that outfit and it didn't turn out as I wanted it, but it do fit the outfit pretty well.

The shopping list:
Hair accessorie: Penny's
Accessories: 6%DokiDoki and the star I got for a Christmas years ago
Sweater: New Yorker
Frilly shorts (supposed to look like a skirt): Forever21
Leggings: Kvickly
Knee-high socks: No Fall
Leg warmers: Deichmann

Pastel Skittle manicure

This nailart is actually from March, but a lot of stuff happened in my life so I didn't got to upload it.

The pastel colours used for this Skittle manicure where the only ones I got at the time, but a week later I got some new ones from Color Club from they're Neon Pastel Collection.

I made this pastel Skittle manicure because it's fast to do and nice to look at!

For the pink nail polish I used O.P.I - Sweet Heart, the purple nail polish is By K. - Lavender Blue, the mint color is Canmake - Peppermint Cream, the green one is Sweets Sweets - 14 and the yellow one is Dear Laura - PA - A162.

Outfit from an Amai Fashion meet-up

Finally I could come to my first Amai Fashion meet-up which was in the end of February. An Amai Fashion Meet-up is for everyone with a "sweet" japanese style, which does not include Lolita Fashion, because it have a lot of sub-styles for itself.

It's the first group on Facebook in Denmark for only cute japanese styles other than Lolita Fashion. There is of course an "Asian Fashion" group, but that includes also other Asia countries like Korea. With a more specific view of styles, you get to meet other Danes with the same style as you!
I thought I was a little alone with my Fairy kei and Fairy Decora, but I found others who wear it. Actually even thought the group is for a lot of different "sweet" styles from Japan all the girls at the meet-up was wearing Fairy kei! I guess it's the most populair style.

As you can see, I was dressed in Fairy kei too.
Actually I didnt't have that nail polish on, I first did it later, but it fit so well!

The shopping list:
Hair accessories: Penny's and Flying Tiger
Accessories: 6%DokiDoki and Chocomint
Blouse: H&M
Dress/skirt: Sango

Cute heart nails

It's a long time ago since I made some nail art or even had any nailpolish on. I didn't really feel like making any lately because it get ruined at work very fast.
I made this anyway because I felt like it and I had some days off from work.

I think it's the first time I actually made hearts. They're made from free hand, and was very easy to do if you know the method.

It was an easy and cute mani to do.

I used O.P.I - Alpine Snow for the white, which is also under the pinkish color. The pinkish color is O.P.I - Princesses Rule! which is a see-through color with glitter. The red I used for the hearts is O.P.I - Got the Blues for Red and the black is Andrea Fulerton - Judy 006.

Polyvore: Outer Space Look

Outer Space Look

Outer Space Look by lolomus featuring patterned socks

So I started playing with Polyvore again.
I made this Outer Space outfit because I've always loved that kind of print. I did try the dress in Monki, but sadly it didn't look pretty on me. So I'll just make an outfit through Polyvore then.

It's an everyday look mixed with cool as well as cuteness.

Why the sudden inactivity

Hey everybody!

After my last post I suddenly didn't post anything for a long time. Normally I would post something a few times a month, but when stuff happens in my life I just end up not doing anything about the blog.

So, yeah, things happened in my life, and I'm trying to figure out things for a while.

Meantime I can enlighten everyone about why my fashion outfits only have been one style lately.
Maybe you noticed that most of my fashion outfit of the day have been Fairy Kei?
Well, the reason why is that it's a really easy japanese style to wear for everyday life. I really love the pastel colors too. Also this year a new group started on Facebook for fellow Danes wearing Fairy Kei fashion and there started to be meet-ups in the community like Lolita Fashion meet-ups. It also encouraged me to wear more Fairy Kei.

Maybe some of you don't know the fashion, so shortly it's about wearing pastel colors, layers of clothing, be cute and get the feeling of someting "light and fluffy", also the 80's cartoon motifs is a big hit in the style! Literally the name means Fairy style. Maybe I'll make a post about the fashion in detail, but right now, you can enjoy the combination of outfits already on my blog!

OOTD - Another Fairy Kei for the Japanese Café at the University of Copenhagen

I asked my best friend Alex (who got into the Japanese study at the University of Copenhagen last year and doesn't have to wait a year like me) when the Japanese Café at the University of Copenhagen would open up again and he said the 3rd of February which was last wednesday!
The University of Copenhagen has a Japanese Café for the people who are interested in Japan or the Study of Japanese. So it's basically a place where you talk Japanese and do Japanese grammar, homework or just talk with eachother.

I had a day of that wednesday, so I went there for my first time! I hoped to meet others that likes the same fashions as me, but sadly there were noone at the time.

I dressed in Fairy kei just because it's nice and happy :D

Hair accessories: Claire's
Blouse: Listen Flavor
Outer "kimono": New Yorker
Skirt: Bodyline
Leggings: Kvickly
Knee-high socks: No Fall
