A Fairy Kei outfit for a meet-up

Once again there was a meet-up with Japanese Fashion, but this time it was a mixed meet-up for all kind of styles! Not just the "sweet" styles but any type of style could show up. 

We held the meet-up because the Purikura machine will start costing money from the 1st of July. Or more correctly the museum it's standing in will cost money to get into. So no more free Purikura pictures.

I showed up in Fairy Kei 'cause it's comfortable and it doesn't take as long to get ready as Lolita Fashion, and I wasn't really up for either Lolita Fashion or something like Himekaji that day.

I also invited one of my co-workers to the meet-up because she likes Japanese and Japan, but she doesn't know much about the fashion styles. I lent her some of my Fairy Kei clothes (The non-brand casual version of Fairy kei, 'cause I'm very senstive about my brand stuff and the things I bought in Japan) and "dressed her up" for the meet-up. 

It was a really fun day and I was wearing my favorite Fairy Kei outfit.

Fairy Decora from the Fashion show of J-popcon

This is the second year where I attended the fashion show of J-popcon, a Japanese convention held in Denmark. Because I want to show another Japanese style than Fairy Kei I attend with the Japanese fashion Fairy Decora.

Fairy Decora is a sub-style of Fairy Kei, and you can't have Fairy Decora without Fairy kei. The style of the clothing is the same as in Fairy Kei; pastel, light and fluffy, you just add a lot of accessories! Just like in the Japanese fashion style Decora.
So it's two styles combined in one! It's a very happy style and you feel like a toystore when you wear it, at least I do.

The show was from March but I first thought of blogging it just recently, my bad.

OOTD - Cool Story Bro

I found this sweater dress in New Yorker and I just had to own it! It's really cute and I think the text is kind off cute too. 

So that day I was wearing a casual cute style, still with a little feeling of Fairy kei.

OOTD - Frilly Business

Here's a little old OOTD. It's from March, but I wanted to show it anyways. It's not a particular Japanese street style, so for once it's not Fairy kei! 

However it is inspirered from Fairy kei with the frills and the light colors, but it is not truly Fairy kei.

So yes, this is an everyday outfit I could possibly wear when I don't feel like going all Fairy kei, but still wants to feel cute. 

The nail design is also from that outfit and it didn't turn out as I wanted it, but it do fit the outfit pretty well.

Outfit from an Amai Fashion meet-up

Finally I could come to my first Amai Fashion meet-up which was in the end of February. An Amai Fashion Meet-up is for everyone with a "sweet" japanese style, which does not include Lolita Fashion, because it have a lot of sub-styles for itself.

It's the first group on Facebook in Denmark for only cute japanese styles other than Lolita Fashion. There is of course an "Asian Fashion" group, but that includes also other Asia countries like Korea. With a more specific view of styles, you get to meet other Danes with the same style as you!
I thought I was a little alone with my Fairy kei and Fairy Decora, but I found others who wear it. Actually even thought the group is for a lot of different "sweet" styles from Japan all the girls at the meet-up was wearing Fairy kei! I guess it's the most populair style.

As you can see, I was dressed in Fairy kei too.
Actually I didnt't have that nail polish on, I first did it later, but it fit so well!

OOTD - Another Fairy Kei for the Japanese Café at the University of Copenhagen

I asked my best friend Alex (who got into the Japanese study at the University of Copenhagen last year and doesn't have to wait a year like me) when the Japanese Café at the University of Copenhagen would open up again and he said the 3rd of February which was last wednesday!

The University of Copenhagen has a Japanese Café for the people who are interested in Japan or the Study of Japanese. So it's basically a place where you talk Japanese and do Japanese grammar, homework or just talk with eachother.

I had a day of that wednesday, so I went there for my first time! I hoped to meet others that likes the same fashions as me, but sadly there were noone at the time.

I dressed in Fairy kei just because it's nice and happy :D

OOTD - Fairy Kei with Milklim

It was a weekend where I had a day off from work.

Of course I had to get in some Fairy Kei for the relaxing movie day/night with one of my friends. It felt so nice being all pastel colors again! So this is the OOTD from the end of January.

Lately there's also started up a community for Fairy kei lovers in Denmark, it's really nice and I'm looking forward for the meet-ups in the future.

OOTD - Winter Fairy Kei

Yesterday I was out shopping for a present for one of my friends. I had the day off, so I could finally "dress up" a little, yay!

Since it's cold, but I had to be inside most of the day I went for a winter Fairy Kei look. Not too warm and not too cold. It's so great to be in pastel colors again!

OOTD - Winter cuteness in light colours

Lately I haven't been wearing any of my pink, light, pastel and cute clothes. It's because of two things: It's getting colder and I've got a job. At my job I have to wear a uniform, so no cute japanese fashion sadly. It's okay though 'cause it's a nice workplace.

I wanted to do a cute winter outfit, so I ended up with this. It's my first time wearing my light pink beret, and it's so cute!

Also I got a haircut - short cute pigtails, hurray!

OOTD - Sailor inspired

This is actually an OOTD from the start of October (I got a haircut two days ago), I just never had the time to post it. I've been busy with my new job so I didn't felt like writing any posts when I got home from it. Lazy much.

Well my boyfriend bought me this dress when we were out shopping. It was on sale so yay!

It's very nice to have on and it's a cute dress, I love it!

I tried on different types of coats to see the different looks the dress would get.

OOTD - Being sporty cute

I had seen some videos on youtube with the japanese fashionista Ene Yuminaga. 

She inspired me to do some more "sporty cute" outfits and since I just bought the jersey I'm wearing I thought: "why not do a sporty cute outfit with it?"

I had a friend coming over, so it was a nice excuse to dress myself nicely.

I saw in one of the videos with Ene Yuminaga that she wears her long 6%DokiDoki necklace two times around the neck - what a clever idea, I must admit I hadn't thought about it at all, jeez!

OOTD - Summer Fairy kei

Another set of clothing I bought when I was in Japan, this was actually put together in the shop in Harajuku and I fell in love with it when I saw it.

It's a very cute fairy kei outfit filled to the brim with bows! And I love bows!

The skirt is my first piece of clothing in soft yellow! I didn't own anything yellow before because I've never found a nice yellow color that looked good on me, but I fell instantly for this one. 

Also I tried to make fluffy twintails since fairy kei is all about the fluff.

OOTD - Red and pink together?

I was going to my little sisters birthday party (she turned 15), so I put something fairly "normal" fashion on. I wanted to have something pretty but not TOO pretty, haha!

It's also my first time to mix red and pink together, normally I wouldn't use pink with red rather black or white. I think it works alright, oddly enough the purple nail art also works (I guess it's because of the dots).

I really like the dress a lot, I used it as a Minnie inspired dress from Disney when I was in DisneySea in Japan, I have some hairpins with Minnies bows on them, which I put in an odango hairdo and done! Very Minnie like!

OOTD - The cool kid in Harajuku

OOTD for some days ago.

Normally I don't wear "cool" japanese streetwear, but lately I've found it very interesting. If most of my friends see this outfit, they won't call it cool at all, 'cause the idea of being cool in Japan is very different from cool fashion in Denmark.

But for japanese streetwear being a little plain is cool (at least it's one way to do it). An oversized t-shirt is also very cool, I took my boyfriends because he forgot it at my place. So that outfit is what I ended up with!

OOTD - Feeling kawaii with Milklim

I'm getting some guests over for coffee and cake in an hour or so.

I wanted to feel cute today, so again I put on some new clothes from Japan I bought at the start of this month.

Before I came to Japan again, I had heard that Milklim just had opened up a shop in Harajuku, so of course I had to visit it. I bought the blouse I have on and it's my first thing from Milklim, I'm SO glad I bought it, it's so cute!

It was also first time I ever went into the shop 6%DokiDoki and it was a little difficult to find, I had to ask lots of different Japanese people before finding it. But oh boy am I glad I found it! I bought all the accessories I've wanted for so many years! Yay!

OOTD - The WEGO way

This is my OOTD!

Today I tried my new skirt from WEGO and my new shirt from Audrey, both bought in Harajuku the start of June.

Instead of my normal cute clothing I tried out WEGO's more "cool" style. I like this style too, even though pink and pastel is more my thing.

I apologize for my hair, I was just spending a lazy day at home so I didn't wanted to waste my time making a hairdo, so I just put it up in my normal lazy bun. The glasses is intended however.

OOTD - Vintermoden i Japan

Da min far kom hjem fra Japan i November (noget tid siden godt nok) bad jeg ham om at tage nogle japanske mode blade med hjem. Det var rigtig dejligt at kunne få lov at se vintermoden i Japan og specielt se nogle af de ting, der ville komme ud hos Liz Lisa.

Desværre var himekaji moden (hovedsageligt den tøjstil Liz Lisa udgiver) her til vinter, dog stadig med bare ben eller tynde strømpebukser, hvilket for mit vedkomene er fysisk umuligt, da jeg personligt synes det er hamrende koldt her i Danmark og ikke har lyst til at fryse psykotisk. Så i stedet for at gå i så meget himekaji her til vinter, valgte jeg at gå efter det lidt mere almene japanske mode eller den mere "cool" Wego type (Wego er en bestemt tøjbutik i Japan, der sælger en stil, jeg ikke helt ved hvad er, for at være helt ærlig - hvorfor kan jeg dog ikke læse 100% japansk?!).

Hovedsageligt er store fletninger og mit naturlige bølgede hår utrolig in i Japans vinter, eftersom jeg selv synes mit naturlige hår er super generende, er jeg glad for, at fletninger altid kan bruges!

Udover "hårmoden" er en beret eller generelt en form for hue eller hat smart i Japan - min beret er originalt kun sort, så den røde sløjfe er en hårspænde jeg har sat på, for at give den det "nuttede" look (jeg ville ønske, jeg også havde en i baby lyserød eller hvid, men jeg kan bare ikke finde dem!). 

De knælange skørter og skjorten under trøjen er også populært i Japan (mine veninder som går i "normalt" tøj, har det alle på), samt mode bladene helt klart er enige med mine veninder med, at det er moden for "normalt" tøj nu ;) 

Jeg benytter for resten også en underbluse og nogle cykelshorts som er kaldet heattech i Japan, det er lavet af noget materiale som kaster varmen tilbage, og de virker!

OOTD - Fairy Decora

Eftersom dagen var grå valgte jeg, at moden Fairy Decora passede perfekt til at give et smil på læben såvel, at den her mode passede perfekt til mine Adventure Time negle.
Selve OOTD'et er lidt gammelt, fra midten af November, men som jeg havde skrevet i et tidligere indlæg, så er jeg lidt inaktiv.

Til jer der ikke ved, hvad Fairy Decora er, så er det en blanding af de to japanske gade stile inde for mode: Fairy Kei og Decora.
Decora handler normalt om kraftige farver og ekstremt meget tilbehør, men når det bliver kombineret med stilen Fairy Kei og bliver til Fairy Decora, så er det egentlig bare Fairy Kei med utrolig meget tilbehør (som i kan se på mit outfit).
Fairy Kei handler om at være nuttet og lidt "barnlig" (derfor jeg ikke går så tit i det, jeg er mere til Himekaji nuttet), stilen indeholder tit pastel farver og kan være ret så kær.
Selvom jeg normalt ikke går i noget som Fairy Decora, kan jeg godt forstå de mennesker, som kun går i den stil, man bliver utrolig glad af at pynte sig selv med en masse nuttede hårspænder og smykker, jeg følte mig helt som en legetøjsbutik! Det gjorde mig i hvert fald i et rigtig godt humør :)

Det er et lidt gammelt OOTD, men jeg kan virkelig godt lide sættet.

Jeg synes, at kjolen er super sød! Jeg er dog lidt i tvivl om man bare kan kalde den en kjole, da den er en smule kort omme bag ved, og derfor har jeg shorts eller hotpants (begge fra H&M) inde under kjolen. Enten er det meningen, at man skal have shorts på, eller også er det bare en super kort kjole, lidt for kort i følge mig, så jeg tror på shorts!

Jeg har besluttet mig for, at kjolen skal være en del af mit inventar, når jeg tager til Japan, jeg vil bare have en anden bluse inden under (en langærmet er ALT for varmt). Jeg tænkte, at min Lolita bluse fra Lolita outfittet HER ville passe godt til. Jeg tror, den her kjole vil være rigtig pæn på Japans gader!

Jeg har fået en skjorte af min mors veninde, som ikke skulle bruge den til noget - selvom den er alt for stor, og overhovedet ikke pæn på mig alene, så er den virkelig flot som en underskjorte til mine outfits! Sløjfen og de puffede ærmer gør virkelig ens outfit super cute!

Det første outfit med "kattekjolen" er fra lang tid siden, men jeg kan virkelig godt lide kontrasten mellem det hvide og sorte, plus det er en af mine yndlings kjoler i mit skab.

Min frisure på det her billede var en lille knold i den ene side, hvoraf hatten så sidder lige foran knolden.

Det her outfit er fra i går, jeg var lidt i tvivl om det ville blive alt for hvidt, når kjolen var hvid, men det passede ret godt sammen.

Jeg ville originalt have haft mine nye sko på fra Ellos, som kan ses på billedet, men lige da jeg åbnede døren for at gå ud, virkede det virkelig koldt, så jeg måtte tage nogle andre sko på, som var varmere.

Selvom min frisure til det her outfit var ret simpel, så føltes det virkelig som prinsesse hår, fordi jeg har den perle "hårbøjle" i, det minder mig lidt om et diadem!
